Review A Commercial.
Yesterday I saw a Nike commercial called Leave Nothing. At the beginning of the commercial we can see that it is all about football, a guy No.56 runs jumps and then tackles the opponents team players. We also see that the color of his shirt and his shoes changes from white to blue and then white again . At 17sec we see that he is running in snow defending himself and tackles his opponents, then wee see him playing is the normal weather (sun shine) . After that we see a guys No. 39 with the ball, running for the touch down, right at 39sec we see some change in weather (night) still he is doing the same thing trying to make the touchdown by hitting opponents team mates. At 38sec we see a change in weather, at 46 we see his jump, at 49 when he is close to make the touchdown 5 guys from the opponents team tries to stop him. We do not see the touch down happening but instead we see the name of the commercial and the Nike symbol having black for the background. The commercial is a minute long and thought out the commercial we hear this music which sounds like the soundtrack of Last of the Mohicans. What do I thing about the commercial? I think the changing in weather was a way to tell us that their goods will work in any weather condition and they used sport because they usually make goods related to sports. The commercial is in a football stadium with the audience in the background (which is neat). why were the color changing? Maybe they was showing that they have variety of goods in many colors, they had a good music in the background I would rate it 5 out of 5. You can see the commercial on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GX_5tzwVz3I

HM Field Assignment 3
“Try something open source”
I guess I totally missed out on it, because it was apparently released on February 12 this year. Anyways, today, I tried something open source – the “new” (if you can call it that…) Firefox 3.0. First of all, it looks MUCH nicer than the older Firefox. As for Internet Explorer, it’s not even worth comparing. After using this “new” Firefox, I think it’s safe to assume that I am never going to use IExplorer again. Ever.
The Advantages of Firefox (from my experience):
Video streams much much faster. Whenver I watch a TV show or something online, it always suggests Firefox, because of the faster streaming capabilities, as opposed to Internet explorer.
Next, it looks a million times better. I especially like the blue buttons, and the awesome colour scheme. It’s so visually appealing.
It has much better parent filtering. If you are a parent, and want to make sure all the sites that your kids are going on are “safe”, then use Firefox. The new foxfilter is so much more efficient at blocking “harmful” sites than the archaic methods used by Internet Explorer.
I find this next one very useful. When you click on a link from your firefox browser, firefox opens that page in another tab, whereas Internet Explorer is defaulted to open in another window. Even if you change the settings, Internet Explorer still has problems opening your links in another tab, rather than in another window.
Lastly, and this is very important, as I’ll explain soon, is that Firefox’s logo is sooo much better than Internet Explorer’s. Firefox has a nice little fox wrapped around in a circle, and it looks really nice, against the blue background. On the other hand, Internet Explorer has this big ugly “e”. How creative is that? And it’s so annoying to look at too. Think about it, if you are going to be clicking on an icon for the rest of your life, everytime you want to open up a web browser, which one would you want to click? A big old bland “e”, or a nice fox that looks like it’s on fire?

Using a VCR...
Choosing to watch Pocahontas on VHS was probably one of the worst decisions I've made in a while. First off, I had to shuffle my way down into the soggy depths of my basement. I should have recognized stubbing my toe on the way down as a bad omen. I had to spend 22 minutes looking for the movie, plus another 3 minutes cleaning up the mess I'd made during my search. Already off to a bad start, I get even more frustrated when I realize I have to rewind it. Rewinding takes longer than I remember. And it's a boring wait. The movie isn't even worth it- I get bored half way through. And it pisses me off- having to fast forward the film instead of just skipping the scene like I would with a DVD. Overall, I decide DVDs were created because they actually make life easier. The pain in my left toe is a constant reminder of how I will never watch Pocahontas again. Lesson learned.

Baby Bunny
Soooo I had this stuffed animal as a child that went through quite a bit, so I decided to pay tribute to my "Baby Bunny" and draw it on illustrator.. Only I don't know how to shade or anything which makes it very incredibly sucky. So if anyone has any ideas on how to make my baby bunny POP a bit more, I'd appreciate it!
