GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Graphic designer is a profession dealing with graphic design and graphic art. Graphic designers usually design graphics for advertisements, and web designs. Many graphic designers obtain the following degrees in college, AS, BA, BFA, MA or and PhD in graphic design. Graphic designers should be able to work with multiple software programs depending on the media the designer is working in.
Graphic designers have their own portfolio, which is either is a black book, or a big binder in which samples of the artist's best printed work are carried to show clients or employers. The current average salary for graphic designers is around $35,000. Most designers earn between $20,000 and $60,000.
A famous Graphic designer is Milton Glaser. He is most famous for the I Love New York logo.
