How Does it Work?
Package is designed like a dispenser.
Finished product includes metal tab (like on box of table salt) at front for access and closure at front. (Top may also be opened with tab)
Designed to fit the same amount of smarties in a regular box of existing product.
Qualities
Package is made of 100% recyclable materials (original packaging is already completely recyclable)
Design is intended to be more attractive and interactive than original packaging.
Patterned box and “cute” aesthetic is meant to be more appealing to consumers.
“Boxies” is a play on the original product, “Smarties” based on the fact that the design is a cube.
Packaging is deceptive and appears larger as a cube, but actually holds the same amount of “Smarties” as the original (due to ramp inside for proper dispension), therefore this is an effective marketing method.
Cube is actually volumetrically (material wise) more efficient than a rectangular box. (Less waste)
All previous nutritional and company contact information is also included in the new packaging design.
Note about Finished Product : Has polished/high quality altered logo, all information incorporated into original printed pattern, and a metal dispenser tab.
